Amazon Web Services invited Ashish Kaushik, our Head of DevOps for a two-day AWS APN Ambassador Global Summit in Seattle.
The AWS Partner Network (APN) is the global partner program for technology and consulting businesses who leverage Amazon Web Services to build solutions and services for customers. The APN helps companies build, market, and sell their AWS offerings by providing valuable business, technical, and marketing support.
What is AWS APN Ambassador Global Summit?
There are about 150 APN Ambassadors, divided over three regions: the Americas, EMEA and APAC. For each of these regions, the top contributors and thought leaders from the AWS Partner Network community were invited to join the AWS APN Ambassador Global Summit in Seattle, Washington. And Ashish was one of the 50 Ambassadors globally!
This Summit was the first of its kind. Previously, AWS APN Ambassadors from separate countries had no common meeting point to discuss the ongoing technology trends.
The Summit involved two days of workshops, presentations and interactions with the principal architects, networking with other ambassadors and sightseeing around Seattle, Washington. Naturally, the Summit had a mix of some brilliant people well-learned in multiple trends emerging in the technology sector, particularly, Software Enterprises, Serverless Computing, Enterprise-Grade Migrations, MSP(Managed Services Providers) and Big Data.

The APN Ambassador Program is a community of technical experts in the AWS Partner Network (APN) Consulting Partner community. AWS APN Ambassadors are passionate about sharing their technical knowledge and pushing the boundaries of cloud technology. They possess multiple AWS certifications as well as in-depth AWS knowledge.

What role will Ashish play as an AWS APN Ambassador?
Ashish will work closely with other AWS Solution Architects, globally, to migrate, design, implement and monitor AWS workloads. He will also continue sharing his technical knowledge through public presentations in multiple Tech events and monthly Meetups organized by SourceFuse. In addition to this, he will lead the creation of open source projects and publish thought leadership through his social media (Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter).
